As a small family business, Plumes & Blooms Creative evolved naturally as an extension to our lifestyle and appreciation for nature. Using a variety of sustainably sourced feathers, compositions often emulate some of our family’s favourite animals and sceneries. In addition to the framed art pieces, we offer a selection of feather baubles that truly showcase the natural beauty of gamebird feathers.
Started in 2017, we are proud of the evolution of collections offered and excited to continue to grow thanks to our valued customers and supporters. As a small family business, we make quality one of our top priorities and each piece is truly handmade with care. Meet the Maker
Hello! My name is Jody, and I am the maker behind all of the pieces of Plumes & Blooms Creative. I have a love for all things outdoors, but most would call be a ‘bird nerd’ at heart. I look forward to the spring migration of waterfowl and for those few weeks you can find me in my rubber boots with binoculars and camera in hand exploring our local wetlands. During the rest of the warmer months I am enjoying my gardens. My husband and I both grew up in Ontario and we enjoy all four seasons and activities. I can’t forget to mention our two loveable quirky Brittany Spaniel pups that keep us entertained daily.
